The E-504 takes all that we know about exceptional mountain bike hardtail geometry and adds a powerful and reliable Bosch motor, battery and controls to give you a huge range of everyday use – from trail riding to commuting, or both in one day – together with a confident-inspiring ride feel.

Our E-504 electric mountain bike is designed by the same team as our award-winning conventional mountain bikes and benefits from all their knowledge and riding experience. The same handling genius that our designers use to win national championships is what’ll make you feel totally in control on slippery, bumpy tracks or zooming down a gravel descent in the forest. The upright position and wide bars make just as much sense for cruising back country lanes, short cutting through town or just making the most of the views this bike can take you to.

The powerful, premium Bosch motor will have got you to the top of that hill with effortless ease and the Purion handlebar display will tell you clearly how far you’ve still got to enjoy and explore. Intelligent motor modes give the best possible range from the big 500Wh battery for hours of adventures. Fitting the battery inside the super tough, mountain bike frame keeps it sealed, safe and sleek but it’s easy to remove for charging inside. The frame mounted motor means perfect handling balance and the smoothest ride and just like the internally routed controls it’s fully protected from the weather. Legendary Bosch reliability means you’ll never miss a ride or worry about getting home either.

Features & Equipment
While the E-504 is super easy to ride whatever your biking experience it’s fully ready to back up your bravest moves too. Rolling on agile and capable 27.5in wheels that help keep the riding experience in proportion for smaller riders, we’ve dressed the wide wheel rims with high-volume 27.5x2.6in Maxxis tyres to deliver great grip and comfort off-road. RockShox suspension is the original and best and the SRAM gears are super simple to use whether you need a winch for silly uphills or warp speed down the other side. Four piston disc brakes with oversized rotors guarantee safety whatever the weather too.

All our electric assist off road bikes, from the big wheelerE-505to theE-506 SUV//insert link// come with a remote-controlled dropper seat post as standard. This lets you lower the saddle with a switch on the handlebars so you can stop or start with both your feet flat on the floor. It also makes getting on and off the bike easier wherever you are too and even helps when you’re riding by the seat of your pants on trickier trails.
