Escape Bike Shop Delivery Details

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - Please contact via email if you would like to process an order, we can then provide accurate shipping costs and provide an invoice for payment by a bank transfer.

Please note we are closed Sunday and Monday so any order put through online on those days will be processed when we re-open on a Tuesday. Postal orders from late Friday and Saturday will still be collected on a Monday by Royal Mail!

We are a only a small team here at Escape Bike Shop and at times can be very busy however we will always endeavour to despatch any in stock items the same day if ordered before 2pm that day.

If you are needing an item to arrive on a specific day or need it urgenly such as on a Saturday please call the shop to ensure we are aware of the order and can look at arranging a specific dispatch date/time (extra charges for postage services may apply)

If an order is made with a mix of in stock and items that are to be delivered from the suppliers we will contact you to discuss if you want to split the order and receive any available items as soon as possible (please note that an additional postage charge may be applicable in this instance).

We use a mixture of delivery services dependant on the size and value of the items ordered, for small items we use Royal Mail and you can choose either a 24 Hour tracked or economy service. All Bikes, frames and wheels are dispatched with a courier and are on a next day service once they leave us. Please note that evnnets and circumstances can affect the delivery times that are out of our control once the goods have been dispatched therefore no service can be fully guaranteed for exact timed delivery dates/times.

When you place an order you will also get tracking information once the order is processed and ready to be sent to you.

You will receive an email containing your receipt in a PDF format, it is your responsibility to retain this for any future returns or warranty matters.

If once an item is sent and you do not receive the item in the time scale expected or it arrives damaged you must contact us within 24 hours here at Escape Bike Shop on 015242 41226 or [email protected].

Bicycle Delivery T&C's

We will always contact you once you have placed a bicycle order to arrange a mutually suitable despatch day, if you require extra items fitted to your bike such as frame protection or tubeless tyre set up this will add to the time needed to prep your new bike ready to despach out to you.

Bicycles will be shipped on a 24 hour service with TNT/Fed-Ex as standard. We can also arrange a Saturday delivery if you are unable to reeceive the bike during a regular working.
Saturday Delievery for all bikes: £50.00

Delivery charges are quoted for standard UK mainland postcodes other than The Scottish Highland postcodes that TNT/Fedex have listed. For Scottish Highlands a surcharge is added and will be delievered usually within 48 hours. For UK Offshore orders please contact us prior to placing an order. We are able to ship to some non-UK addresses!

If you are unable to accept delivery of your bicycle on the day specified then please let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange delivery for a different day,

Once you bicycle order is ready to depatch we will either phone or email to confirm the delievery date and you will also receiev the tracking information from TNT.

UK non-mainland and remote area delivery charges -

Please note we are currently not sending to Large items such as Bikes/frames/forks/wheels or multiple small items boxed together to Northern Ireland or the highlands as standard due to the recent large increase in courier charges and also custom's administration required for Northern Ireland shipments. Please get in touch to discuss alternative shipping opotions prior to placing an order online.

To offer you the most competitive prices we unfortunately have to charge a surcharge for orders leaving the UK Mainland or in remote areas. These charges are passed from our courier, and [where applicable] will be confirmed in the checkout process or personally if you contact prior to placing an order, but before completing payment.

Not received your package?

Firstly, please check to see if you have received an email from us and also a tracking email from the relevant deleivery service used for your order, telling you your order has been sent. If you haven't received any emails confirming your order, then email on [email protected] or give us a call on 015242 41226 and we will be able to help.

In the unlikely event that you've not had your item(s) delivered in the timeframe that was provided, please get in touch by calling the shop or emailing [email protected] . Make sure you've got your order reference number or details to hand (you'll find this in your order confirmation email).

Damaged order/packaging

If the packaging is visibly damaged then do not sign for the goods without noting the packing is damaged. We can not be held responsible for damage caused by the courier after a package has been signed in good condition and no refund will be offered as we are unable to claim against the courier insurance if you have signed for the item been in good condition.

If once unpacked, you find your order items have been damaged in transit, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving them.

Please note: if you have instructed the courier to leave your package on your doorstep or in another insecure place, we cannot claim for missing items or damage to your package. We therefore strongly recommend that you ask the courier to leave your package with a trusted neighbour, or collect it from a local delivery depot.
