Built for Race-Day Performance & Easy Maintenance
The Dissent Carbon 297 is designed to handle the demands of racing and aggressive riding while remaining easy to maintain. The frame has clearance for up to 2.5” tires, providing excellent grip and traction on rough terrain. High-quality Enduro Bearings are used throughout the frame, ensuring durability and smooth suspension performance. The bike is also designed with a threaded 83mm bottom bracket and ISCG05 mounts, making component compatibility straightforward. To ensure riders have long-term support, all necessary spare parts are readily available, making the Dissent Carbon 297 a bike that is both race-ready and easy to live with.
Advanced Carbon Frame Construction
The Dissent Carbon 297 is built using T700/800 carbon fiber, which allows Nukeproof engineers to optimize stiffness, strength, and compliance. By transitioning to a carbon frame, the overall weight has been reduced by 430g compared to the alloy version, with the RAW frame weighing 3.46kg. The frame also includes 3D contoured protection and integrated bump stops, enhancing durability against impacts. To ensure easy maintenance, the bike features tube-in-tube internal cable routing, keeping the frame looking clean while reducing hassle when replacing cables.
Fully Adjustable Geometry for Any Terrain
The Dissent Carbon 297 is highly adjustable, enabling riders to fine-tune their setup for different riding styles and track conditions. The adjustable main pivot offers three different settings (21%, 25%, and 28%) to modify suspension progression, allowing riders to choose a setup that suits their preference for responsiveness or support. The adjustable reach headset provides three positions, allowing riders to shift the reach by +/-6mm, ensuring a perfect fit for different rider sizes and riding styles. To further customize handling, the adjustable chainstay flip chips offer three positions for wheelbase adjustment, enabling riders to fine-tune stability and maneuverability.
Mixed- or Full-29” Wheel Setup
The Dissent Carbon 297 gives riders the freedom to choose between a full 29” setup or a mixed 29”-27.5” (MX) configuration. Thanks to the rear flip-chip, switching between wheel sizes is seamless, ensuring that the bike’s geometry and suspension kinematics remain uncompromised regardless of setup.
